During the celtic tiger this track earned its keep as the telephone hold music for the now defunct Drive Motor Group.
Tech: First done on an all MIDI setup with a borrowed Mac and a "free" sequencer called Passport Mastertracks. I was trying to work the way Cubase did, with short loops built up in a kind of triangular fashion. I mixed onto cassette. To make the sound better I redid the whole track in Cubase VST around 1999, probably one of the first things when I upgraded from A Yamaha TX16W sampler to an Emu ESI4000. A Yamaha CS5 is doing the 303 type line, and a CS10 for the plucked sound, layered with a Fairlight choir sound.
